Halloween 2009

On Friday I took the boys out of school a little early since I was already there. On our way home we made a stop at Walmart to buy a birthday gift and a few other Halloween stuff. I ended up buying some pumpkin faces the you push onto to the pumpkins instead of carving them! SO glad I made this purchase! SO much easier! So when Daddy got home from work we worked on that. The boys enjoyed it and so did Marisa!

Our pumpkin project!

Marisa must of just gotten up from a nap! She looks tired!

Nick almost done with his face!

Jon's just needs a mouth!

The finished products! Don't they look cute?! My kids not the pumpkins!

Halloween this year was celebrated at the Cardenas residence in Eagan! Every year we trade off neighborhoods! Next year it will be back at our house! YEAH! We had a great dinner and than all the kids changed into their costumes! They were all SO excited! It was a great night for Trick or Treating! A little cold but at least it was not raining or snowing! Enjoy the pics!

This was the best picture I had of all the kids together. Marisa didn't like her brother's costumes. That is why she is looking back....

Marisa found her favorite candy! M&M's!

When we went to Walmart Jon found Silly String! Of course I had to buy it for them!

Jon and Nicholas got Noah and TJ!

Nick got it too!

Jon's Halloween Party

After Nicholas' Halloween Party at school, I than had to run over to Jon's class to have lunch in the classroom with him and than help out with his Halloween party! I was exhausted when I got home! But it was great visiting at the school and helping out. There was a lot of Halloween parties going on and I was able to chat with a few mom friends! Here are a few pics from Jon's Party. They had a draw a monster station, decorate a cookies station, pin the nose on the pumpkin station, and a listen to scary stories station! Another successful party! Enjoy!

Nicholas' Kindergarten Halloween Party!

On Friday October 30th Nicholas had is Kindergarten Halloween Party! I signed up to volunteer and it was a ton of fun! Mrs. M had really great fun activities planned for them in the morning! One station was the build a Spider Hat, another one was coloring and the station that I was at was toss the eyeball into the bucket! Than at 10:15 all the Kindergarten classes gathered and had their Halloween costume parade and they all walked around the school showing off their costumes! When the kids got back we had changed all the stations into a new one. There was a build and eat a graveyard, and a Spooky Walk! After his Halloween party was done I could have stayed to have lunch in the classroom with him, but I had to run over to Jon's class to have lunch in the classroom with him and than stay and help with his Halloween party! It was a busy day for Mama! I was exhausted when I got home! :-) Enjoy the pics!

Another group. The girl on the end wasn't very happy because her team didn't win in the toss the eyeball in the bucket relay! :-(
