Check Out The Pictures From Today's Trip To New Prague

I just checked my cousin's blog and she already had pictures up of our visit. Go to Olivia Wagner Photography Blog. The pictures turned out great! I love them!

Marisa is 7 weeks!

Marisa turned 7 weeks today! She is getting bigger and bigger every week! Below is a picture of Nicholas and Marisa a couple days ago. He wanted to hold her and she ended up falling asleep. Too cute!

A Visit to New Prague

This morning we left to go visit Aunite Olivia for her Grand Opening of her new studio and shop. We left about 10:30 am after I fed Marisa and got there about 11:30am. Olivia wasn't there yet so we went for a walk on Main Street. Jon had spilled a lot syrup on his new shirt (we stopped at BK for B-fast) so we went to a 2nd hand store across the street from Olivia's studio and bought him another shirt. After that we went back to and she was there. It was SO good to see her! She just recently found out that she is pregnant with her 3rd child, so I told her congrats and how happy I was for her. She was trying to get pregnant the same time I was.

So we hung out for a little bit and she took pictures of Marisa and the boys. Marisa was so good! She smiled a lot for her! I can't wait to see the pictures! I of course forgot to bring my camera so I don't have any to post. So hopefully I will be able to get some off of her blog when she posts them! :)

Marisa is 6 Weeks!

Marisa turns 6 weeks today! Look how cute she is in that new outfit below! Mommy went out to dinner with her college girlfriends last night and Marisa received this outfit from Mom's friend Sara. Mommy thought it was so cute she had to put it on Marisa today. The outfit is a size 3 - 6 months so hopefully she will get to wear it when she is 3 months! :) Marisa also received gifts from Mom's friends Serena (cute 18 months outfits she will get to wear next year) and Danielle. Danielle was actually in town for her sister's bachlorette party. She live out at Martha's Vineyard and owns her own kids shop called Kiddos. That is where Sara got the cute outfit below. Danielle gave her a really cute outfit from her shop too that she gets to wear in the Fall. Mommy is hoping to visit Danielle in October when her friends Helen and Sara goes. She might be in trouble though because her shop has SO many cute stuff! She will have to bring extra spending money just to shop at the store!

Thanks ladies for all the cute outfits! It was great to see all of you last night! Hopefully we will get together again soon!

Doesn't she look like her Daddy?!?!?!

Marisa is 5 Weeks

Marisa was sleeping on her Dad like this. I thought it was a cute picture! Look at the big belly! I can't believe another week has gone by. 5 weeks old!

Happy 7 Year Anniversary!

Yesterday was Mike & I 7 year anniversary. He actually bought me my anniversary present early and got me a Tom Tom GPS unit. It is pretty cool. I get lost pretty easy so it is a good gift for me. I ended up getting him a new pair of golf shoes. His old ones have been hurting his feet for a couple years now and we finally went out and bought him new ones.

Last night Mike took me out to dinner at Fogo De Chao in Minneapolis. We rarely ever go out to dinner so it was nice to go out just the two of us. This place that he took me to was SO good! If you have never been there before you definitely have to give it a try, but make sure you are hungry! Basically what it is that you are served continuously of 15, yes 15, different cuts of beef, pork, lamb, & chicken. You are seated at your table and each person has a disc that is red on one side and green on the other. Basically you control the amount of meat you get served. When you are ready for the Gaucho chefs to bring you meat you turn your disc to green. Get ready! They come at you one after the other sometimes! When you want them to stop you flip it to the red side. You also get served mashed potatoes, fried bananas, and something else I can't remember. There is also a salad bar you can eat from as well. Once you are ready for more meat, you just flip it to the green side again. It was a very unique experience and we would definitely go there again sometime! Once we were done with dinner we order some dessert even though we were both pretty full. Below is a picture of our New York Cheesecake. We had told them it was our anniversary so that is how they served it to us.

We were done with dinner in less than an hour because we just kept on eating. You could definitely tell who the veterans were. They didn't get any salad and just went straight for the meats! It was amazing, wonderful food! Spendy but well worth the money!

Thank you Hunny for a wonderful dinner and HAPPY 7 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! I LOVE YOU!

Marisa is 4 Weeks Old

Marisa turned 4 weeks last Friday. I can't believe how fast she is growing! It will be interesting to see how much she has grown at her 2 month appointment. The boys like sitting with their Dad on the couch in the picture below and they wanted to add Marisa and take pictures so I did. They love taking pictures with their sister. The other two pictures, Marisa is starting to smile more often. Mike can get her to smile really good. I got a couple good ones of her last night except the flash was on the wrong side and I kept on getting Mike's shadow in the picture. Oh well, I am not a professional! Enjoy!

They Finally Made It Home!

Yeah! Everyone made it home! Well, except for Matt and Noah. They ended up taking a later flight and getting two free vouchers for taking a later flight. Mike picked up Missy and Gen Gen and brought them home. He beat Lolo and Lola home but when they did get home we were all so excited! The boys were really excited to see Lolo and Lola. Mike helped unload there luggage and packages and we all went downstairs to help unload. We all received a lot of food from our cousins in the Philippines! It ended up taking up all of the fridge and freezer space in Lolo and Lola's refrigerator and I had to make room in our freezer for more stuff! We are all very thankful for the gifts! We will be set for food for awhile! :) The boys were excited to get some gifts from Lolo & Lola. they received T-shirts and a necklace. They even received a cool necklace from their Tita Ledgie with the first initials. They put it on right away! I am hoping to see some pictures soon and watch the presentation of Kuya Edel's. Hopfully today so stayed tuned!

Update On The Family

We received a call last night at 12:35am and it was Missy. They landed in LA and their flight got cancelled to Minnesota. She was going to call me again to let me know when they would be arriving. Well, I didn't get another call until this morning from my sister Marie at 10:30am. They were still in LA! They had spent the night and were not leaving there until 12:35pm. They will not arrive in Minnesota until 5:35pm! I think their original plans were that they were going to arrive at 5:45am this morning! Missy had said that all the kids were fine since they all slept on the plane, but all the adults were tired. I'm excited to see all of them! Hopefully I will post some more of their pics soon!

More Pictures FromThe Philippines

This morning I received an email with pictures again from Matt. They are now back in Manila staying at the Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City. They left yesterday and on their way to Manila they stopped at Palace of the People which over looks Lake Taal which was created by a volcano. The day before they went to a different resort that is owned by the same company that operates Punta Fuego. It was about 15 minutes away. They went there because it had a nice beach for the kids to play in. He said he wasn't sure what was going on for them today, but I am sure they will be doing some shopping and more swimming for the kids! He also said that Missy took about 400 pictures! I can't wait to see them!

Pictures From My Dad's Birthday

I just got these pictures from my cousin Kuya Edel this morning. They are from the birthday party of my Dad's. Look at the decor! It's like a wedding or something! The next pictures is of my Dad's family when he was little. He is the one sitting in the bamboo wagon. My Lolo is the one standing second from the right and my Lola is the one sitting down behind my Dad. The last picture is of the family minus Lorenzo at the party. It looks so pretty there doesn't it? I am sad that I missed this wonderful event! :- (

Pictures From The Philippines

I received some pictures from Matt today via email from the Philippines! They are at a resort in Bulacan called Club Punta Fuego. It is an exclusive resort where my cousin had to get a sponsorship for all of them to stay there. It is not a place that you can just call and make reservations! The pictures are just beautiful! Matt said that it is a very high end place and everything is very nice and the food is great. The kids are having fun swimming every day! You can tell in the picture below because they are all SO dark! The men went golfing yesterday and the women are getting a 4 hour full body massage today. I think that is what he said. I am SO jealous! Not sure what my parents are doing, since neither one of the golf or swim! :) But I am sure they are enjoying themselves. Thought I would share the beautiful pictures. They are coming home on Sunday sometime. I have no idea what time their flight arrives and neither did Matt when I asked. LOL! If I get more pictures I will post them when I get them. Enjoy!

Sprinklers!

Yesterday was such a beautiful day out! We pretty much played outside as much as we can. Jon did have a birthday party to go to but when he got home, both the boys wanted to run through the sprinklers! Good timing because they were on when we got home. So the boys ran upstairs to put on the swim trunks and ran outside. I had to take pictures of their first water fun for the summer! Enjoy!

Jon loves to stick his head in the water!

3 Weeks Pictures

This morning I had the 2 older brothers take a shower and Marisa had a bath. After she was all nice and clean I placed her on the couch to take some pictures of her. Right away Nicholas wanted to join in. I did manage to take a few pictures without her brothers! She is getting so big now! Most of her new born outfits she will not be able to wear soon because she is getting too long for them. The outfit she has on today is 0-3 months and it fits her well. She actually stays awake more often now too! She doesn't go right back to bed after she eats. She likes to just hang out and play with her brothers on the floor. Below are some pictures that I just took. Enjoy!

Her eyes get so big sometimes when she is surprised!

A close up

Nicholas just loves to take pictures with her!
