Results of the 2nd Ultrasound

Well, I had my second ultrasound and it was a different Tech this time. It seemed like she was having a difficult time getting the pictures that she needed because the baby was facing my back. So, I didn't ask her to confirm that it was a girl. The first tech seemed pretty sure it was a girl so I guess we will have to wait to see if she is right! :)

Second Ultrasound

Well, tomorrow morning I am going in to have my second ultrasound. I'm sure it will be a short one since they need to only get one profile. I believe it is the front of her. So, I will make sure that the Ultrasound Tech double checks the sex of the baby. If there are any changes I will let you know!

My next appointment will be in Feb and I will be doing my Glucose test, so I will for sure be there for an hour. Wish me luck!

Sorry, No Ultrasound Pics

Well, I just got home from volleyball and asked Mike if he hooked up the scanner. Well, unfortunately we don't know where the software is for the scanner so he can't connect it. Which means no pictures! I was going to post up the pictures and have another poll to have people guess but now I can't do that! So here is it.......We are having a........

GIRL!!!!
I actually have to go back in on the 25th to have another ultrasound because the Ultrasound Tech couldn't get a picture of a profile they need. So Dr. Becicka said I could ask her to double check the sex just in case! Stay tuned for more updates!

We're Having A.......

Well, we did find out what we are having at our ultrasound today, but I am not going to let you know until I can scan some of the pictures in. Unfortunately our scanner is not hooked up to the computer and I will have to wait until Mike gets home. So, hopefully he can do that tonight and I can update it when I get home from Volleyball. You can wait one more day, right?!

The Votes Are In!

Well, one more day until our ultrasound! The votes are in and here are the results.....We had 32 people vote:

Yes and share the news - 19 (59%)

Yes and don't share the news - 4 (12%)

No, keep it a surprise - 9 (28%)

Sounds like most people want us to find out and share the news! Well, I am still not 100% sure, but we most likely will find out the sex of the baby. You will have to wait until tomorrow afternoon to find out for sure! Our appointment is at 1pm so make sure to check after that time! :) Have a wonderful day!

The Wilderness Resort, Wisconsin Dells

Our trip to WI Dells was a short but fun one. thank you to Anne and Nicholas Egan for inviting us to come along and for the pictures. Mommy wasn't able to take pictures even though she brought her camera. Once we got there we couldn't check into our room yet but we were able to go swimming. So we changed into our swimsuits and had fun playing in the waterpark. This place was so huge that they had 3 indoor waterparks! We spent most of our time at the Wild West Waterpark. We all loved the wave pool there. Nicholas Egan and Jon loved going down the slides. After awhile we got dressed to check into our room. We reserved a 2 bedroom Deluxe suite. It was very nice! Mommy told us that we would have to come back to this place and rent a room like this. It had two bedrooms, one with a king bed, and the other had bunk beds with a twin on top and a queen on the bottom. Plus it had a Murphy bed in the living room for more people to stay! It also had a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. It was very nice! After we rested for awhile we went back to the waterpark. Nicholas didn't want to swim anymore so Mommy and him just hung out while Jon, Anne, and Nicholas Egan went around in the waterpark. They went in the hot tub that was part inside and part outside. They had fun catching snowflakes on their tongue! The wave pool and all the other slides. Once they were done at the waterpark we than went to the Arcade/Playhouse area for a little bit. mommy got us 20 tokens each for the arcade. We ended up getting 2 super balls, a sticky ball, a yo yo and some candy. We had SO much fun! Once we got back to our room it was already 9pm. We didn't eat dinner yet so we had a late dinner too! As soon as we were done with dinner all the boys went into the room with the bunk beds a watched TV while Mom and Anne cleaned up. they were all asleep within minutes! Mom and Anne moved Jon and Nick to the other bedroom and we all went to sleep. The next morning Anne took Nicholas and Jon to a smaller waterpark for an hour and Nick and Mom stayed in the room and packed up our stuff. Nick didn't want to go swimming anymore. After they got back we all left to go home! Thanks again Egans for a fun trip!

Going to WI Dells for the night

Well, me and the boys are off to WI Dells today. My college friend, Anne Egan and her son, Nicholas, are driving up from Lake City and picking us up to go to WI Dells today. We will be staying at The Wilderness Resort for the night. Looking at their website, it looks like a pretty cool place with 3 indoor waterparks. The boys are pretty excited. Mike is staying home today to work on our basement. Him and Lolo have been working hard on getting our basement finished. They are almost done with the framing part and than they are going to start working on putting in the lighting. So, I am bringing my small camera and hopefully I will be able to take some pictures of the boys. I'm a little nervous since Mike will not be there with me to help watch the boys but Anne and I should be OK. It's a long drive for just one night, but it should be fun! Sunday Papa and Grandma are coming over and we will be going out to dinner to celebrate Grandma's birthday. So I'll probably will not update until beginning of next week. Have a great rest of the weekend!

Getting Anxious

Well we have 12 days to wait until my 20 week ultrasound! I am getting pretty anxious about it. I am actually 21 weeks right now and will be 23 weeks when we go in for the ultrasound. Of course Mike wants to find out what we are having, and I am still on the fence. It was so fun not knowing when Nicholas was born, at least fun for me. Of course this time Mike thinks we are having a boy again. I would like a girl but if we have a boy it would make things a lot easier since I have everything already. I'm still not sure if we will find out the sex of the baby or not, but I know it would be easier if we found out. That way we can prepare if we are having a girl. Mike is now saying that we should find out and not tell anyone. I think that would be really hard not to tell anyone especially my parents and sisters, but he thinks we can do it. I am maybe thinking of just having him find out and not me. I don't know if he would go for that, or if that would really work! :) I guess we will just have to wait and see. I have a couple more weeks to decide. Although everyone is telling me to find out. Maybe I will, or maybe I won't! :) If we do find out and decide to tell everyone I will post it here too.

Happy New Year!

This year Mike and I decided to keep it low key and make it fun for the boys. Every year the city of Woodbury's Park and Rec Center puts on a New Year's Celebration for kids ages 12 and under at the Bielenberg Sports Center. It starts from 6pm and goes until 9pm. So this year we decided to attend that to see what it was like. There was games, a moonwalk, slides, an obstacle course, mini-golf, bingo, open ice skating, and a Woodbury Skating Club exhibition. We went with our neighbor's the Welch's and all the kids had so much fun. We went out to dinner first at Wendy's and got there about 6:30. As soon as we walked into the building they took off their jackets and ran off. Of course all the boys wanted to do was play in the moon walk and obstacle course. Than Daddy suggested they have a race, so they raced around for a little bit too. You could tell who have been there before because they brought footballs and soccer balls to play with as well. We will have to remember to bring them next year. After a little while they played mini golf. Nicholas wanted to bring his own putter, but we told he couldn't. Our neighbor Paula and her daughter Addy wanted to go ice skating so we joined them. We have never taken the boys skating yet so I was curious to see how they would do especially Jon. I decided not to skate since I haven't skated in a long time and I didn't want to fall and hurt myself while being pregnant (I'm 21 weeks already!) Any way, Jon did really well for his first time! He does pretty good on roller blades so that helped him a lot. Jon and Nicholas took turns skating with Daddy and Nicholas didn't do too well. He had Daddy do all the work. He had fun though! Mike said he would have stayed out there longer but his skates were one size too small. We will have to take them skating again sometime soon because Jon really enjoyed it. After skating we went back into the dome were all the other activities were and they played some more. Before you knew it, it was time to go already! They didn't want to leave, but everything was shutting down. When we got home the Welch's came over for alittle bit to see if we could all stay up until midnight. Around 11pm the decided to go home because everyone was so tired. We all went to bed as well. The boys didn't wake up until 9am the next day! It was so nice that they slept in! Below are some pics, enjoy!
