Marisa in Pig Tails

The other day I had my hair up and Marisa wanted her hair up too! She let me put in pig tails! I was so excited! I told her not to touch them and she didn't! She had them in until she had to take her nap. I thought she looked SO cute I had to take pictures of her in her first pig tails!

Smiling pretty for the camera!

Not the clearest picture but I loved her smile!

Auntie Missy gave her that shopping cart and she loves putting her babies in there and pushing them around!

More pics of her pig tails....She doesn't look too happy in this one....

She was by the fridge and wanted a cheese stick!

Jon's first Hunting Trip With Dad

On October 23rd Mike took Jon Bow Hunting for the first time. We had bought Jon a Bow for his 7th birthday and he seems to really enjoy it. Even though he is too young to bow hunt he was very excited to go away with Daddy. They will be going back to Uncle Larry's land for the weekend of the 6th of November for Riffle Hunting so this time they drove down the camper and left it there. For this trip Mike had bought a Double Tree Stand for the two of them to sit in and they had a little difficult time setting it up but they managed to do it! In the video there was like 4 men putting up the stand! Any way, they said they only saw two deer, one which was REALLY close to them in the stand but too dark to shoot at! They had a great time having Son and Father time and Jon is looking forward to going up there again. I made sure Mike took lots of pictures so I could scrapbook them and he did pretty good!

Setting up camp.

Love this picture!

Couple pics of the land.

Another view...

Jon sitting in his chair playing his DS. Other times he was watching a movie.

Mike and Jon drove around in the 4-Wheeler and took pics on every deer stand!

Each stand has a name. Not sure what this one is...Maybe the Money stand?

Hanging out on the 4-Wheeler.

Another stand....

Can you see Jon's orange hat?

Maybe this one is just being built?

Marisa and Oreo Cookies!

We got an early Halloween treat at our front door the other day and it had Halloween Oreo cookies in them for all the kids. Well, Marisa loved the cookies! Just see for yourself!

Nice and clean prior to Oreo cookies!

Nice look for her! Can you see the orange Oreo cream on her teeth?!

Yummy!

Lunch and Maplewood Mall

We met Lolo and Lola for lunch at Maplewood Mall on Wednesday afternoon. She like to play in the little play area right by the Food Court. I had Lolo's camera on me so I took a couple pics!

Nicholas' First Field Trip - Afton Apple Farm

Last week I volunteered to go with Nicholas' class on their first field trip. We went to Afton Apple Farm. I have never been there before and it was pretty cool. A very large Apple Farm! I usually always go to Aamodt's Apple Farm but this one had more things for the kids to do so I may be going back to this one! Any way, I had 4 boys in my group and they were all really good. We went as a class around the farm on a trailer that was pulled by a tracker. The kids loved this part! He drove us around the farm and told us about the farm and some interesting things that I never knew. We stopped in 3 different parts of the farm to pick 3 different apples and than we even got to pick out own pumpkin! After we were done doing out picking he drove us back to the main entrance and gave all of us some apple cider. It was delicious! Than it was lunch time and after that the kids got to play on the playground! It was a great field trip! Hope you enjoy the pics!

Nicholas' class on the trailer.

My 4 boys I looked after: Nicholas, Tommy, Alex and Alwyn.

I love this! Mrs. Mankowski or Mrs. M as the kids call her would say give me 5 and raise her hand and cover her mouth and the rest of the kids would do the same! They would be quiet so fast! I loved it! I gotta try it at home!

Nicholas picking his pumpkin!

Eating lunch. The playground is in the back! It was a huge hit!

The class posing by the pumpkins and signs. Great picture!

Last Twins Game Of The Season

For our last Twins tickets of the season I was out of town. I had planned a scrapbooking weekend with Missy so I was not able to go. Mike ended up taking his Dad and Jon to the game. Nicholas wanted to stay home with Grandma and Marisa. So to get ready for the game, Mike painted Jon's face like Baby Jesus (aka: Joe Mauer). He said it was a lot of fun and that there was a lot of people there just like the Vikings game. I was getting updates through our Host at the scrapbooking event so I knew it was a good game. Any way, we are all VERY excited for next season and the new stadium! Can't wait to have Baseball outdoors again! Here are a couple pics of Jon that Mike took for me. Thanks Hunny!

What a stud!

He kinda looks like Baby Jesus, doesn't he?

Jon's Soccer 2009

Jon had an excellent season of soccer. He was actually put on a team with all of his buddies from school. We didn't even asked to be on the same team, but some how they all ended up being on the same team! So it made it really fun for all of us. His team was actually pretty good and went undefeated the whole season. What SCVAA does at the end of the season the best teams from each division compete in a one day tourney and Jon's team was the best in their division so on their last day they had a double header. They ended up winning both games even though it was freezing out! Here are a few pictures from one of his games. Next year he has the option to play football. He hasn't really made up his mind yet, but we told him that next year is the first year for everyone so if he wanted to give it a try, he should do it than and if he doesn't like it we can go back to soccer. He is going to wait to see what his friends do and wait until the time comes closer.

His teammate Ryan. The only player that was not from Lake Elmo.

Jon and Ethan.

I was only able to get a few action pics of Jon this year.

His buddy Jake and Jon messing around.

Not sure what he was trying to do here.

Vikings First Home Game of The Season

Mike scored 4 tickets to the Home Opener for the Vikings this year! I was SO excited! I had not been to a Vikings game in years! Jon had gone with Mike last October when I was visiting Danielle at Martha's Vineyard, but this was Nicholas' first game. It was SO much fun and REALLY REALLY loud! The boys did pretty well. Nicholas was occupied with games on his Nintendo DS and my iPhone. Jon was really into the game until towards the end and he was asking Mike for the last half hour if we could go. So, yes, we did end up leaving the game early and missed the big winning catch! We did hear it on the radio though! PA was going nuts on the radio! Oh well, at least they had fun! Here are a few picks from the game.

Jon and Nick waiting for the game to start. Jon didn't want to look at me....

Before the game started. Picture of our view of the game....Lots of empty seats....

The Vikings were getting ready to come out!

Now look at the Dome! FULL and VERY loud!

Jon finally took a picture with Daddy.

Nicholas' Soccer

This is Nicholas' first time playing soccer. Kindergartners play once a week for 5 weeks. This Saturday will be his last week of soccer. He has been doing pretty good, but his main concern is to guard the goal so no one from the other team scores. But at this age they don't even have a Goalie so we try to tell him to kick the ball and score on the other team. It has been pretty good for him especially since he has been watching his brother play for the past two years. Enjoy the pics!

It was pretty foggy out this day. We could hardly see into the next field!

Score!

He looks like he got some move, right?!

Marisa in Toddlers ECFE

Four weeks ago we started Toddlers ECFE for Marisa. With the boys I didn't start ECFE with them until they were 2 so Marisa will get two years of ECFE before she starts preschool. She has been doing really great and it is even a separation class and today was the first day that we separated from the kiddos. Most of the kids did really well. There was only 2 moms that were asked to come back. Sandy, Marisa's teacher said that she only whined a little bit but that was it. I think there are a total of 13 toddlers in the class and they seem to get a long really well so far. Marisa's favorite time besides snack time is circle time. We have one after free time (this is right away when we get there) and than right before we leave for class. Below are some pics I took with Lolo's point and shoot at snack time. It is amazing that they all sit there and eat snack! I will try to get more pictures when she is actually playing.

All the kids eating snack at the table.

She was happy here....

Not sure what happened here but she wasn't happy....
