Wilderness Resort, Wisconsin Dells, WI

This past weekend we went to Wisconsin Dells and stayed at the Wilderness Resort. We were suppose to go in February but something had come up and we couldn't cancel our reservations so we decided to reschedule it since there was no penalty to do that. The boys and I had been there before when I was pregnant with Marisa. We went with a girlfriend of mine from college and her son. The boys didn't really remember the place when we talked about it but once we got there they remembered. The place is really nice! It has 3 different indoor water parks and one outside. The resort is pretty big and you have many options for accommodations. When we went with my girlfriend we actually stayed in the hotel part that is connected to all the water parks. This time we rented a Villa. It is away from the main hotel area and the water parks which was really nice. We didn't have to worry about kids running up and down the halls! Our place was pretty awesome! There were 3 units attached and we were on one of the end units. It was a 2 story with 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, living room and 2 bathrooms. The best part was that both of the bedrooms were upstairs away from the main living area! The main bedroom had a king size bed and fireplace and the other bedroom had 2 queen size bed and even a roll away bed. I'm not sure how many people the place slept but there was more room for more people because the 2 couches downstairs were hide a beds! Another thing that was nice about the Villa was that we had our own area to hang out outside. When we would come back for lunch we would all go outside to play. Definitely worth going to again or even making it a yearly thing! When I checked out the lady had told me that they even have cabins that can sleep up to 16 people! Maybe a future family trip for the Ramos family! We had a lot of fun, but it was a tiring weekend! Hope you enjoy the pics!

At the second water park we went to. It was called Klondike Kavern. Daddy stayed at the Villa with Marisa so she could get a good nap in.

This is what it looked like. This was the warmest water park. The one we went to the day before, Wild West I think it was called, was REALLY cold water! Marisa didn't enjoy it very much.

Outside our Villa playing some baseball.

Marisa and I hung out on a blanket and watched the boys and Daddy

More pictures of Marisa.

Not sure what she was trying to do here. I just thought it looked funny with her foot so high up!

My Ham

This would have been such a great picture but I couldn't get Marisa to look up!

Some Daddy time!

Marisa was the easiest to take pictures of. She didn't move so much! LOL!

Pitching to Daddy

Can you believe he is 7 already?

Another view of Jon pitching to Daddy.

Hanging out with Papa at the last indoor park. This one was called the Water Dome

It basically had one huge wave pool! The boys loved it!

They all went down the big tube ride!

Easter 2009

We celebrated Easter this year in Buffalo, MN. We attended church at Uncle Doug and Auntie Christine's Church. The boys enjoyed it and thought that the church was cool! They have a band that played the music so I am sure that is why they think it is cool. They did pretty well during the service. Bev had told me that she could tell that I have been taking the boys to church every Sunday. So that is good! After Church we went back to Papa and Grandma's house for lunch. Grandma cooked a yummy ham, cheesy potatoes, corn and a few other things. It was all really delicious! After lunch the Easter Bunny came and hid eggs for the kids. Marisa was taking her nap during this time so I don't have a lot of pictures of her in her cute little Easter dress. Oh well....After the Egg Hunt the kids and adults played a game of egg toss. The older boys kept on saying that the eggs were hard boiled but they were not. It was fun to watch! After that, they played a couple games of croquet. The little boys did pretty good with following the rules. Nicholas cried once when Papa hit his ball and sent his flying in the other direction! But he did get Papa back towards the end of the game and that made him feel better. We ended up staying for dinner as well. We had a VERY long day, but it was fun! Happy Easter everyone!

Before leaving for Buffalo. This is the only picture I have a Marisa and you can't even see her dress!

Ashley and Papa had decorated the car for Easter.

Jon could barely fit into it!

Nicholas' 5th Birthday Party!

We celebrated Nicholas' 5th Birthday this past Saturday even though he doesn't turn 5 until the 19th. We are going to WI Dells this weekend so we had to celebrate it early. I can't believe he will be 5 already and starting Kindergarten next year! He is very excited to start Kindergarten and take the bus with his brother. He thinks he is going to get the same Kindergarten teacher as Jon but we will not find that out until August. Any way, here are some pictures from his party. I hope you enjoy!

We got him a Big Belly Bank. He has been wanting one for awhile because his brother has one.

Gator Golf from the Dehne's. They played this one right away!

Marisa is 11 Months Old Today!

Marisa turns 11 Months today! I can't believe she will be 1 next month already! She has grown SO much! Some of the things that she is doing now: She loves to walk behind things and push them. She can take about 4 steps towards you. She stands very well on her own now. She loves to walk around the furniture too! Pretty soon she will be walking all on her own! I can't wait! She continues to be a good sleeper. She still takes 2 naps a day. One is usually about a hour and one is around 2-3 hours long. I LOVE the long ones! I get so much done around the house! Her brothers continue to love her and play with her. They are so good to her. They both love making her laugh and carrying her back into the living room after she has crawled away.

So, here are a couple pictures I took of her this morning. Hope you enjoy!

Lola has taught her "Hello" where she puts her hand or phone up to her ear.

Love this one of her. She was crawling away from me....

Than she laid her head down and smiled!

Here she is pushing the walker around.

Here she is standing on her own! This one was tough to get! She kept on walking to me, but this one she finally let me take about 4 shots! She is getting SO big!

Jon's Birthday Party

I am SO late posting these pictures! I have had them ready for the blog for awhile, but I was just too lazy to put them up! Well, the boys and Daddy are playing PS3 and Marisa is in bed so I thought I would post them!

We had Jon's 7th Birthday Party at Woodbury High School Activity Center! We got the idea from their cousin Samantha Parker. She had her birthday there this year too! It is cheap and so easy! We got a section of the Gym for 2 hours and a Jumper for 1 hour. But since we were the only birthday Party that day we were lucky enough to have the big Jumper for the whole party! They provide you with all the sporting equipment and table and chairs. We just had to bring the food, cake and drinks! It was great!

So enjoy the pics!

Jon's Birthday Cake. Yes, the only thing I forgot was CANDLES for the cake! I felt SO bad! Poor Jon didn't have anything to blow out after we sang to him :-(

John S. in the Jumper! I put this one up because Jon is in mid air in the back! LOL!

More pictures of the boys in the Jumper.

Marisa even got to go in the Jumper! Thanks Auntie Re for bringing me in there!
