Every December there is a Children's Christmas Celebration held by the Fil-Minnesotans Assoc. of Minnesota called Paskong Pilipino. They have been putting this together for over 30 years. Mommy even remembers going to this celebration, and take part in it. She was an angel and was also in the talent show! Well, every year we try to make it and if we go, we get to be shepherds in the Nativity scene. There is a talent show for the kids and X-mas songs are sung by the Association members. Of course there is always great filipino food as well! Our favorite is puto from Lola Li and Lolo Mong (Beer)! They make the best puto! Santa always comes to visit as well and gives the kids early X-mas presents! Below are some pictures of us in our shepherds costumes and some of our cousins in their angel costumes. There is also pictures of us with Santa. Poor Jon he waited all the way until the end of the pile for his present. He was one of the last kids to get his present. He kept on asking me if he was going to get one. I just told him to be patient and to make sure he was a good boy. When his name was finally called he was so excited!
