Mommy's 35th Birthday

It was Mom's birthday yesterday. Mommy got her hair cut in the morning since Daddy took the day off. We didn't really do much during the day because Jon had children's Farm at 1pm. It was his last day so they invite the whole family to the farm at the end of class to see what they do. Jon got to ride one of the horses and we fed the Chicks too. Jon even got to feed one of the baby calf's it's bottle. It was very cool! We also collected some eggs from the chicken coop and got to wash them. Jon really enjoyed his Nature Class and said that it was more fun than his Woodworking Class. So next year Mom said she would just sign him up for that one. Jon and I are hoping that next summer we will be able to go to the same class since I will be five, but Mom wasn't sure what the age cut off is.

After the Children's Farm we went home and Mom and Dad got ready for their night out. Daddy took mom out to Treasure Island to do some gambling. He surprised her with inviting our neighbors Paula and Shawn, our friends Aric and Kelly and Kris and Lisa to dinner at the buffet. She was surprised he kept that secret from her! :) He usually isn't that good at keeping surprises! After dinner we all went back into the casino to gamble. We didn't have any luck this time but our friend Kris ended up winning around $450! He had a great winning streak on 3 card poker! Plus he ended up winning $200 just for having the highest hand for 2 hours! Pretty cool. Last year Daddy took her to TI as well and they didn't have any luck last year. Maybe next year they will have to try something new! :)

Mom will try to post pictures on Monday of Jon's Farm School. She would try to do it tomorrow but Marisa is getting Baptised tomorrow morning. So stay tuned for pictures from that too!
